On Wednesday, July 10th, Pepper Money hosted its first broker well-being event for 40 invited guests as part of its Be More You Campaign.
This event was designed to give key broker contacts and industry colleagues an opportunity to step away from their busy daily routines, hear from inspirational speakers on important topics, and network with like-minded individuals in an open platform.
Attendees heard from inspirational speakers such as Jason Berry from The Mortgage Industry Health Charter and Medical Director of The Evewell West London, Dr Ed Coats on some very important topics and had the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals on a very open and honest platform.

Jason Berry, co-founder of the Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter (MIMHC), said: “It’s almost like Pepper has had a crystal ball. We’re just about to publish our 2024 annual survey and within that survey there’s feedback that very specifically talks about having wellbeing events and days where people can talk about mental health and wellbeing. So, well done to Pepper for spotting that in advance of the survey. The day has been terrific. Each of the attendees was able to focus on being the best version of themselves.
The morning closed with an introduction to breathwork session with Jessie Laute, a breathwork and wellbeing coach. The session provided brokers with tips on managing stress and improving sleep quality.
Jessie Laute, Breathwork & Wellbeing Coach, who ran a workshop at Retreat, said: “I have been really impressed by the whole event. It’s beautiful to see how Pepper Money has brought focus to mental health and wellbeing, supporting not just their employees but industry wide. It’s been incredible.”
